Albanian Durres police forces seized on Friday morning an amount of 47 kg of cannabis, which was found after the control of a truck embarking on the Durres-Bari (Italy) ferry, according to ATA. The driver, Eduart Allmeta, 33, and the passenger, Ardit Tola, 23, were arrested immediately after 46 packages with cannabis were found hidden in the rear tires. In another case, at least 80 kg of hashish were seized Thursday night near Ksamil village, south of Saranda town, southern Albania, and two persons have been declared wanted, according to a statement of Saranda police. "The narcotic drug originated in Lazarat was intercepted at the place called Gjiri i Hartes, some three km from Ksamil and seven km from Sarande," the statement said.
