Algerian Minister for Maghreb and African Affairs Abdelkader Messahel on Tuesday met with Alexander Zmeyevsky, the Russian president’s special representative for counter-terrorism and organized transnational crimes, currently on a visit to Algeria. They discussed bilateral cooperation in combating terrorism. The two sides also touched on the issues of drug trafficking and organized transnational crimes on the regional and international levels. Zmeyevsky is visiting Algiers to participate in the fifth meeting of the Algerian-Russian group for bilateral cooperation on fighting against terrorism.
