Algeria, which took part in the donors conference on Mali, organized by the African Union (AU), granted Tuesday financial, military and humanitarian assistance to Mali, destined notably to "the development, as well as the reinforcement of Mali security forces capacities." The Algerian assistance intends "to help face the difficult humanitarian situation experienced by Mali in its Northern Region." Algeria has been represented in this conference bu Ambassador to Ethiopia, Abd-El-Naceur Belaid.
