The Algerian Reform and Guidance Charitable Association announced that it will send a second shipment of humanitarian aid for Syrian refugees in Turkey. In a statement it issued today the Association regretted the daily tragedy of the Syrian people due to killings, destruction and intimidation amid what it termed as the silence of the international community. It expressed wander over the stance of the Algerian politicians towards what is happening to the Syrians,” voicing dismay over the stillness of Islamic movements, considering what is happening in Syria as “destruction and extermination” against the Syrian people. The Association said that it had already got acquainted with the suffering of Syrian refugees in camps in Turkey and Lebanon last March, calling at the same time on the Algerian people to give donations to their Syrian brothers. Algeria received 12 thousand Syrian refugees since last June, and allocated reception centres for them in the capital which are overseen by the Algerian Red Crescent and Algerian Muslim Scouts. Government schools were also opened for Syrian families’ children.
