Algerian Prime Minister Abdelmalek Sellal met Saturday with President of the United Nations(UN) General Assembly's sixty-ninth session Sam Kahamba Kutesa who is currently visiting Algeria.

The meeting took up the issues related to the UN agenda especially that of the African continent as well as funding the developmental targets to 2030, climate change and reforming the UN Security Council, according to a statement issued by the Algerian cabinet.

The two sides discussed also Algeria's activities for the sake of achieving regional security and stability, the statement read.
