Egypt’s Ambassador to Germany Mohamed Hegazy met Thursday with a group of young diplomats from Egypt and Arab states.

The youths are participating in a training program organized by the German Foreign Ministry annually.

Hegazy asserted his personal keenness on meeting the trainees in person each year.

In his speech, Hegazy urged the young diplomats to expand their acquaintance and contacts to better understand regional and international challenges.

The importance of the diplomatic work has increased to cope with the latest political regional and international developments, he added.

Hegazy asserted that this stage needs cooperation and solidarity to protect Arab states from terrorist attacks.

Egypt is the cornerstone of stability in the Arab world and Europe, he added.
