MP Michel Aoun, Head of Free Patriotic Movement, said following his Bloc's weekly meeting in Rabyeh on Thursday that the Orthodox electoral law was the best one suggested during Bkirki meetings, followed by proportional representation law, and demanded that at least third of the President's privileges must be restored to the way they were prior to Taef Accord. Bkirki meetings were held between Christian leaders to reach an agreement over a new parliamentary electoral law. Aoun asserted that the Lebanese Forces were in favor of the Orthodox electoral law.
