Arab foreign ministers held a consultative session on Thursday before the start of their preparatory meetings for the Arab summit to open Saturday.
The ministers discussed the developments in Yemen and how Arabs will deal with them after Yemeni Foreign Minister pleaded for an Arab military intervention to deter Houthis.
Earlier in the day, Saudi Arabia and its Gulf allies, except Oman, launched air raids over Houthi targets in the unrest-hit Yemen.
