The 30th session of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers have decided to hold a conference on combating terrorism in the Arab world in May. During the session on Wednesday, the ministers urged the Arab countries and research centers that are concerned with tackling issues of violence and terrorism to actively participate in the planned conference. They agreed to launch an Arab award under the name of late Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz in appreciation for his efforts to promote Arab security cooperation. They also agreed to name Saudi Minister of Interior Prince Mohammad bin Naif bin Abdulaziz as honorary president of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers in succession of his father.
