Arab League Secretary General Nabil el Araby met on Sunday with new UN Special Envoy to Yemen Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed.

The meeting held on the fringe of a high-level meeting of regional organizations' heads in New York.

In a statement by the Arab League, el Araby said that the pan-Arab organization supports efforts made by Ould Cheikh Ahmed to bring together all Yemeni political powers for talks.
