Arab League (AL) Secretary General Nabil el Araby met Wednesday with the New Zealand's permanent representative to the United Nations in the AL head quarters.

The meeting took up the latest developments of the Palestinian cause and the ongoing consultations to issue a decision from the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) so as to end the Israeli occupation, according to a statement issued by the AL.

The two sides discussed also means of settling the Syrian crisis and conditions in Yemen, it added.
