Arab League Secretary-General Nabil al Arabi reiterated AL support to efforts exerted by the United Nations Special Representative and Head of the United Nations Support Mission in Libya Bernardino Leon to reach a solution to the Libyan crisis.

This came during Arabi's meeting with Libyan Foreign Minister Mohammed al Dairiin Cairo.

Arabi also asserted AL support to Libyan parliament and legitimate government.

During the meeting, they discussed the latest development concerning the Libyan crisis as well as the neighboring countries and African Union's efforts to solve the crisis.
