The Arab League\'s follow-up committee called on all Arab countries to refrain from any form of normalization of relations with Israel till it ends its occupation to Palestinian territories. In a report, represented to the Arab foreign ministers in their meeting here Wednesday, the committee asked all countries which have not recognized the Palestinian state to urgently take the move. It demanded the UN Security Council to shoulder its responsibility and enforce its previous resolutions which calls for the end of Israeli occupation of Palestinian land. The committee asked Arab countries to help the Palestinian Authority meet the cute shortage in finance and to provide it with financial safety net, of about USD 100 a month, to pay the salaries of civil servants and provide the Palestinian people with the basic needs. The report also condemned the continued illegal Israeli settlement activities in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem as well as the detention of Palestinians with trails.
