Arab League Secretary General Nabil El Arabi attributed the failure to resolve the issue of the Palestinian refugees to the inability of international community to compel Israel to abide by international legitimacy resolutions.

In a statement on the 65th anniversary of the launch of UNRWA, he called for allowing the Palestinian refugees to live in dignity describing the failure to do that as a negative sign.

Araby said the UN resolutions on the Palestinian refugees cannot be annulled by the statute of limitations, hailing the UNRWA role in serving the refugees.
