Cairo - MENA
Arab League Secretary General Nabil el Araby will expound during a UN meeting in Moscow an Arab vision to end the Palestinian-Israeli conflict based on the Arab peace initiative and a two-state solution.
Araby's participation in the meeting of the UN Committee on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People (CEIRPP) reflects his keenness on coordinating with UN to boost the rights of Palestinians, said Assistant Arab League chief Mohamed Sobeih.
He underlined the importance of the role played by this committee in backing the Palestinian cause, citing successful efforts to make 2014 the Year of Solidarity with Palestinian People.
Araby will update Russian officials on moves to end Israeli occupation of Palestinian lands and bring about peace in the Middle East.
