Jihadists stabbed an Egyptian soldier on Monday in Sinai\'s el-Arish, military sources said. Jihadists attacked 39-year-old Ahmad Muhammad Mahjoub while he was shopping in Al-Hurriya Square in the North Sinai city, military officials told Ma\'an. Mahjoub was stabbed several times in the chest and abdomen and collapsed in the square before being evacuated by ambulance, they added. Meanwhile, jihadist gunmen opened fire at the power station in Sheikh Zuweid. Egyptian forces confronted the attackers, who fled.
