EU High Representative Catherine Ashton Monday expressed concern about detention on Friday at the Cairo airport of Ahmed Maher, leader of the April 6 Movement. "His arrest, coming after the detention and prosecution of other April 6 members, civil society activists and media professionals, is a worrying development in the context of the democratic transition in the country," said Michael Mann, spokesman for Ashton, in a statement.
