Asiana Airlines flight 214 crashed after landing Saturday at San Francisco International Airport, the Federal Aviation Administration said. Reports indicated heavy smoke was coming from the a Boeing 777 but there was no immediate word on injuries, NBC News reported. Air traffic controllers said crew members and others were seen walking away from the plane after the crash, which occurred at about 11:20 a.m. PDT. Incoming air traffic at the airport was put in a holding pattern, but departures were being permitted, NBC said. The FAA said investigators were being sent to the scene. The flight originated in Seoul.
