A spokeswoman for the Austrian Airlines has said the carrier has aborted a flight to the northern Iraqi city of Irbil and canceled another over security concerns.
Kurdish fighters are battling Daesh extremists in the region.
Sandra Bijelic said Monday's flight was canceled "to be on the safe side" after the decision to turn around Sunday's flight in Turkish airspace and return to Vienna.
She gave no further details.
