President of Austria Heinz Fischer sent Tuesday a cable of condolences to Coptic Orthodox Church Pope Tawadros II over the killing of 21 Egyptian Coptic Christians in Libya by Daesh militants.
In his message, the president voiced shock of the massacre saying this barbaric act should be denounced without reservation.
The brutal mass murder of Egyptian nationals in Libya was the first large-scale atrocity claimed by Daesh outside its familiar heartlands in Syria and Iraq.
