Ezzeddin al Awami, the first deputy of the outgoing speaker of the Libyan General National Congress, was nominated by Libyan lawmakers for the post of deputy prime minister of the national consensus government.
In a post on his Facebook page on Thursday, Spokesman for the Libyan House of Representatives Farag Abo Hashem said the nomination came as result of Awami's previous patriotic stances.
