President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev held talks here today with UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohamed bin Rashid Al Maktoum who is currently visiting Baku.
Emirates News Agency (WAM) said the talks dealt with means of enhancing relations of cooperation between the two countries in various fields.
The Azeri president and the UAE Vice President witnessed the signing of two memorandums of understanding between the two countries. The first memo was related to cooperation and exchange of information between the UAE Securities and Commodities Authority and the securities committee in Azerbaijan while the second dealt with cooperation in the field of emergency between the UAE National Emergency Crisis and Disasters Management Authority and the Azeri Ministry of Emergency Situations .
