Honorary President of the Egyptian National Competitiveness Council Hossam Badrawi said the council was founded with the aim of increasing Egypt's competitiveness at the local and international levels. The problem in Egypt is not to have strategic plans but to implement them, he said. Addressing the council's 9th annual conference held here on Sunday, Badrawi said maintaining reform in Egypt relies on collective efforts by all segments of the society. He stressed on the importance of human development and education, adding that the society should hone the skills of the citizens and provide opportunities equally and fairly.
