Bahraini King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa sent a cable of condolences to the President of Nepal Ram Baran Yadav over the death of hundreds in the earthquake that struck Nepal Saturday.

The King, according to the Bahraini news agency, extended sincere condolences to President Yadav, the families of the victims and the friendly Nepalese people, wishing the injured speedy recovery.

Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa also sent a similar cable to his Nepalese counterpart Sushil Koirala over the victims of the earthquake which killed nearly 2,000 and wounded thousands others.
