In line with the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Honorary President of the Royal Charity Organisation (RCO), and under the patronage of RCO Board of Trustees Chairman Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, RCO Secretary General Dr. Mustafa Al-Sayed opened Bahrain\'s residential compound for the Syrian refugees at Zaatari Camp, in Jordan, in the presence of Board of Trustees member Salman Mhanna Al-Dosari. Marking the occasion, Shaikh Nasser extended thanks and gratitude to HM the King for his honourable stances towards the Syrian refugees as well as his directives to expedite assignment of humanitarian relief aid to them. He also praised tremendous support accorded to RCO by the government, led by His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, as well as the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier. He also praised the efforts of official and non-government bodies in Jordan in assisting the Syrian refugees, commending strong historical ties binding Bahrain and Jordan. He added that, in line with the royal directives, the Royal Charity Organisation has provided 500 makeshift housing cabins at Zaatari Camp to help the Syrian refugees overcome the harsh climatic conditions. On his part, the RCO Secretary General expressed thanks and appreciation to HM the King and Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa for their relentless efforts to stretch out a helping hand to the Syrian refugees in Jordan. He added that RCO is currently preparing a psychological guidance centre at the camp to alleviate the children\'s suffering and help them cope with stress resulting from the painful situation undergone by their country.
