Energy Minister Dr. Abdul Hussain bin Ali Mirza received here yesterday the outgoing Russian Ambassador o Bahrain Victor Smirnov.
The Minister praised the contributions of the ambassador in developing relations between the two countries.
He said the ambassador was always keen to promote ties, especially in the areas of oil and gas and the electricity and water sectors.
Dr. Mirza thanked the ambassador and said he would make all efforts to ensure proper follow-up on all issues that would further develop the friendly ties.
Ambassador Smirnov lauded the fruitful co-operation he had received from Dr. Mirza and other officials during his tenure.
