Foreign Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, participated in a meeting of the GCC Foreign Ministers with the US Secretary of State John Kerry.
The meeting was held on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference currently hosted by Germany. It reviewed the GCC- American relations and their development at all levels. It also shed light on the latest developments in the Middle East and the need to meet various challenges and threats posed to the region.
The Foreign minister noted that the GCC side has put forward its vision and evaluation of the current regional situation and highlighted the main threats and difficulties. He also expressed hope for more coordination and cooperation between the GCC and the US in order to achieve security and stability in the region.
