Graduation ceremony

In accordance with the Royal order issued by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa stipulating the appointment of officers at the Interior Ministry, and the Royal order stipulating the recruitment of officers to the National Security Agency, HM the King granted the Royal Academy of Police (RAP) graduates the rank of Lieutenant.
The appointment of the tenth batch of cadets was announced today during a graduation ceremony held at the RAP, under the patronage of the Interior Minister Lt-General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa.
The ceremony also included the graduation of the second batch of master's degree students in criminal and police science.
The minister, who was welcomed by Chief of Public Security, Major-General Tariq Al Hassan and Commander of the RAP, inspected the parade and observed military exercises conducted by the graduates.
The Commander of the Officer Training College expressed his thanks and appreciation to the minister for his support of RAP’s development.
He said that launching the master's degree programme in criminal and police science, office management diploma and other educational programmes aim to develop students' capabilities, including the collection and analysis of data and reaching conclusions based on data.
The minister honoured outstanding students and awarded certificates to the master's degree graduates.
The 10th batch of officers took their oath of allegiance and the minister congratulated them, urging them to take pride in their jobs and work hard in order to serve the ministry and people of Bahrain to the best of their capabilities.
He said that the ministry is keen on enhancing the skills of its staff and officers through education that meets international standards in order to boost performances, while maintaining order and security throughout the country.
He congratulated RAP's educators for enhancing the skills of the graduates, and for their dedication to the internationally recognised educational curriculum.
The ceremony was attended by senior Interior Ministry officers, officials and families of the graduates.
