His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa today deputized his advisor Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al-Khalifa to attend a reception party hosted by Thai Ambassador Vichai Varasirikul marking his country's National Day and the 86th birthday of Thai King Bhumibol Adulyadej. The ceremony was attended by senior officials and members of the diplomatic corps at the Crowne Plaza. Shaikh Salman conveyed greetings from HRH the Premier to Thai monarch and his people, wishing Thailand further progress and prosperity. He lauded strong bilateral relations bonding the two friendly countries on the basis of mutual respect and sincere desire to promote joint interests, stressing Bahrain's keenness on bolstering cooperation and exploring untapped opportunities. Thai Ambassador Vichai Varasirikul paid tribute to HRH the Premier for his keen interest in strengthening relations and building bridges of cooperation, wishing Bahrain and its people further progress and prosperity.
