The Shura Council has today launched a virtual roaming service on its portal (www.shura.bh). Education Minister Dr. Majid bin Ali Al-Nuaimi attended the launch of the service which aims at highlighting the work of constitutional bodies.Shura Council President Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh stressed the importance of such quality initiatives in in enhancing community awareness, fostering school students' patriotism and disseminating parliamentary cultures in partnership with the Ministry of Education.He lauded the ministry of education for linking the new virtual roaming service with the citizenship school curriculum. He lauded Shura Council Human Rights Committee chairperson Dr. Aisha Salem Mubarak for supervising the project and ensuring the follow up.He also commended the Shura Council General-Secretariat for its efforts to promote the content of the new launched cyber service. Education Minister Dr. Al-Nuaimi stressed the importance of the Shura Council virtual portal, adding that His Majesty's King Hamad's Project networked all schools in 2009, ensuring communication between teachers, students and schools.He commended Shura Council President Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh and the work team for their cooperation with the ministry of education. Shura Council Human Rights Committee chairperson Dr. Aisha Salem Mubarak described the project as a qualitative step in cooperation between the legislative and executive branches of government.
