Security bodies in Behaira governorate have foiled an attempt by 74 persons of different nationalities to illegally migrate to Italy via the Mediterranean Sea in the Delta city.

Of the 74, 11 are Egyptians. They also include 17 Sudanese nationals, 39 Syrians and seven Ethiopians.

The public prosecution has been notified to open an investigation.
