Belarus is saddened by this week's terrorist attacks that targeted the prosecutor general in Cairo and army soldiers in North Sinai and killed and wounded scores of soldiers and civilians, said a statement issued by the Belarusian Foreign Ministry on Thursday.

The statement which was released by the Belarusian embassy in Cairo said Belarus condemns all forms of terrorism and expresses solidarity with the Egyptian government.

It offered condolences to the Egyptian people and government over the death of the soldiers and civilians and wished a speedy recovery for the wounded.
