Bishop Andrea Zaki has been named head of the Evangelical denomination in Egypt.
Zaki won 18 correct votes of members of the General Evangelical Council during elections that took place earlier Friday.
Bishop George Shaker has been named deputy head of the Evangelical denomination.
He won 13 votes in the same elections.
