Cairo - MENA
Former British Prime Minister Tony Blair said Saturday that he discussed the Middle East peace process with Egypt's Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry.
The situation in the Gaza Strip and the need to improve the living condition in the war-weary enclave were discussed, he told reporters following the meeting.
The meeting also tackled the latest regional developments and potentials of resuming the Palestinian-Israeli peace talks.
Blair, who is a Mideast Quartet envoy, arrived here on Friday to discuss ways of pushing the stalled peace process in Palestine.
