A blast ripped through a passenger bus in the Turkish city of Istanbul Sunday morning with no death cases reported.

Turkish media reported that the driver of the bus was critically injured and rushed to hospital.

Security forces reached the scene to seal it off, while fire brigades also arrived to douse the fire which ripped through the bus.

Th authorities concerned started a probe into the incident.
