A boat carrying dozens of migrants, including young men from the Ain al Hilweh Palestinian refugee camp, capsized Monday off the coast of Italy.
A source from the south Lebanon camp told MENA that 25 Syrians and Palestinians are missing, including a Palestinian refugee from the camp.
The source said that residents managed to re-communicate with eight of their relatives who were on board the boat following the disaster.
No official body is following up the matter, he added.
