UN-Arab League envoy to Syria Lakhdar Brahimi said on Monday that discussions are underway on the list of participants in the Geneva II Conference on Syria, slated for coming January. Brahimi made the remarks following a joint press conference with US Under-Secretary for Political Affairs Wendy Sherman and assistants of Russian foreign minister in Geneva to discuss steps to prepare for the conference to be held on January 22. Brahimi added that a final meeting will be held on December 20 to determine those who will attend the conference.
