The UN-Arab League (AL) joint special representative to Syria Lakhdar Brahimi on Thursday reiterated here a call to stop fighting in Syria during Eid al- Adha holiday as he warned the crisis would spread to the region, Jordan\'s official Petra news agency reported. In a meeting with Jordan\'s Foreign Minister Nasser Judeh, Brahimi said if the fighting stops and truce is implemented, it will be possible to launch a true cease-fire and to start a political process that helps the Syrians resolve problems they face. \"If the Syrian crisis continues then its impacts will not be restricted inside Syria, but will affect the region and the world, \" said Brahimi.
