Senior Member of the Brazilian Parliament Claudio Kazhado, in a meeting with Head of Iran-Brazil Parliamentary Friendship Group Abdolreza Mesri in Tehran, voiced the Brazilian legislature\'s readiness to enhance relations with Iran in various political, economic, industrial, and technological fields. At the meeting, Kazhado extended the Brazilian parliament\'s readiness for widening political, industrial, economic and technological relations with Iran, and said, \"The parliament and government in Brazil believe that a remarkable atmosphere has emerged for the further expansion of all-out relations with Iran.\" \"Respect for nations\' will, non-intervention in other countries\' way of governance, and settlement of problems among different countries through peaceful solutions constitute the bases of Brazil\'s foreign policy based on which Rio de Janeiro is ready to boost its ties with Tehran,\" the senior Brazilian parliamentarian underlined. Iran has in recent years expanded friendly ties with Latin America, specially in economic, trade and industrial fields. Iran\'s strong and rapidly growing ties with Latin America have raised eyebrows in the US and its western allies since Tehran and Latin nations have forged an alliance against the imperialist and colonialist powers and are striving hard to reinvigorate their relations with the other independent countries which pursue a line of policy independent from the US.
