British Prime Minister David Cameron visited Algeria on Wednesday to discuss economic ties and counter-terrorism cooperation. Cameron held talks with his Algerian Prime Minister Abdelmalek Sellal in the capital Algiers on Wednesday, official APS news agency reported. The British PM's two-day visit is an opportunity "to exchange views and analysis by President Abdelaziz Bouteflika and his British guest on a number of regional and international issues of common interest," Algerian presidential office said in a statement. The talks are expected to "strengthen the political dialogue between Algeria and the United Kingdom, and to promote bilateral cooperation," the statement said.
