Tripoli - MENA
Jamal Jibril, brother of former Libyan prime minister Mahmoud Jibril, was killed in an armed attack by Daesh against guards of South Korean Embassy in Tripoli, said head of diplomatic security in Libya's Tripoli-based Interior Ministry Mabrouk Abu Zaheer.
In statements to MENA Sunday, Abu Zaheer said that Mahmoud Jibril was visiting one of his relatives of the Libyan guards outside the South Korean Embassy and at the time of the attack.
The Libyan authorities opened an immediate probe into the incident, he added.
