Bulgarian President Rossen Plevneliev is set to pay a two-day official visit to Turkey next Wednesday, State media reported. During his visit, the Bulgarian president will hold talks with his Turkish counterpart Abdullah Gul and Turkey’s Prime Minister Recep Erdogan on ways of developing Bulgaria’s energy supplies and a natural gas interconnection project between Bulgaria and Turkey,Bulgaria’s newspaper, Standart News said. Also, means of boosting military and cultural ties between the two countries will be highlighted.
