Cairo - Arab Today
A security source said the fire that erupted in a number of parked buses in Cairo's Matarya district was caused by burning waste.
The eight outdated buses were stored in a vacant plot of land next to a marketplace in Matarya to be used as a junk, he added.
The source told MENA that the litter thrown under one of them caught fire, setting the seven other nearby buses ablaze.
Civil defense teams managed to control the fire with no casualties being reported.
