The Council of Ministers convened in session at Baabda Presidential Palace, presided by President of the Republic, General Michel Sleiman, in presence of Prime Minister Najib Mikati and cabinet members. The Ministers will go over 50 items registered on the cabinet's agenda, most important of which granting the Lebanese mother the right to give her children the Lebanese nationality, as well as referring the amount of 60 million LP from the budget reserve to the Interior Ministry to cover the expenses of the electoral process. The session was preceded with a closed meeting between the President and Prime Minister, during which both men dwelt on most regional developments.
