Sacramento County detectives confirmed the bodies found Tuesday in a suburban home were those of a mother and her two children. The man who lives in the Rancho Cordova home discovered his wife and two kids dead when he arrived at the residence. A sheriff\'s department spokesman told KTXL-TV in Sacramento the children were a 2-year-old boy and 3-year-old girl. An infant was found in a crib unharmed. The Sacramento Bee said the woman\'s husband was not considered a suspect and a vehicle belonging to the family was missing and being sought. The cause of death was not immediately known; however, investigators said the victims suffered extensive trauma.
