Calm prevailed in Qalubiya\'s al-Khusus city on Friday after a reconciliation and national unity meeting was held on Thursday to soothe the angry situation there. Six people were killed and 22 others injured in last Friday\'s violence between Muslims and Christians. The meeting was attended by the presidential assistant for social communication, Qalubiya governor and police chief and representatives of the church, Al-Azhar and Awqaf Ministry. Meanwhile, Friday sermons focused on spreading forgiveness and love between Muslims and Copts. The deadly sectarian clashes in the town broke out after a group of teenagers painted offensive drawings on the wall of an Al-Azhar institution.
