Chad has arrested about 60 people in connection with a triple suicide bombing that killed 38 people two weeks ago, public prosecutor Alghassim Khamis said Sunday according to dpa.
'A cell of an active terrorist network has been identified and dismantled,' Khamis said.
The detainees included Chadian, Cameroonian, Nigerian and Malian nationals.
Khamis said one out of a total of three suicide bombers had been identified and that police were searching for the 'main leaders of the terrorist network.'
A suicide bomber detonated explosives in front of police headquarters and two others in front of a police academy on June 15.
The authorities have attributed the attack to the Nigerian Islamist group Boko Haram.
