A procedure for withdrawing chemical weapons from Syria cannot be ended by December 31, the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) reported. The possible schedule variance is related to such factors as the bad weather conditions and the armed actions on Syria’s territory, the OPCW’s logistics head, Franz Krawinkler, was quoted by ITAR Tass as saying on Saturday. It is probable that certain types of logistic supplies, which are indispensable to transport military toxic agents, will not arrive in time, the OPCW expert said.
