Armed Forces Chief-of-Staff Lieutenant General Mahmoud Hegazy met here on Wednesday with UN Under-Secretary-General for Peacekeeping Operations Hervé Ladsous.
The meeting took up the Egyptian participation in the UN peacekeeping forces, and ways to benefit from the Egyptian experiences in the UN peacekeeping activities.
Hegazy also met with Chairman of the United Nations' High Level Independent Panel on Peace Operations Jose Ramos-Horta on the Egyptian role within the UN peacekeeping forces.
