China on Monday condemned the terror attack on a Shiite mosque in Saudi Arabia's Qatif province which claimed the lives of 21 persons and injured 100 others, according to the Foreign Ministry spokesman.

China offered condolences to the victims and asserted its backing for Saudi Arabia in confronting all forms of terrorism.
